Working method

The washing tunnel is divided into two sections: one for main washing and one for rinsing. An immediately linked up disinfection section is optional.
In the main washing compartment the crate is being washed with great intensity: its top and bottom part, the inside and outside and also its sides are all treated. This is achieved by two powerful rotating spray pipes with nozzles. The rinsing compartment has one spray arm installed with a total capacity of 8l/m. The water that has been used for rinsing, flows into the main tank and will be recycled: it is used for the refilling the water supply of the main washing sequence.
Entrance and exit of the washing and rinsing compartments have been fitted with anti-splash flaps of man made fibers. The cover of this compartment can be opened, which makes the unit easy accessible for service or cleaning.

Movement

After being laid on the conveyor belt the crates are being moved forward by a Stainless Steel chain with ridges. This system provides an excellent washing result. The motor with redactor for the movement of the conveyor belt can be adjusted without interval. It is also possible to obtain the unit without the motor driven conveyor belt. In that case the crates are being moved through the unit by simply pushing one crate after the other into the conveyor belt.

Filter

Through the application of a cassette filter that can be easily removed, the water is filtered very well, before it will be recycled. Futhermore it passes a pipe filter to prevent the nozzles from being clogged up. The nozzles have been installed in such positions that the powerful spray produces a very effective and evenly divided cleaning cycle on all the crates that pass through the unit.

Temperature

The temperature of the cleaning water in the unit can be set at 40 – 60°C. This well functioning regulation of the temperature in combination with an excellent moving process of the crate with a generous space in between; a great pumping capacity and many nozzles: provides a washing result that definitely can be called excellent. The unit contains a heat exchanger (circulation by boiler).

Washing result

The additional use of detergents or soaps will of course produce an even better washing result. That is why a detergent dose pump is optional. This pump injects a detergent according to the proportional system, keeping the cleaning process automatically at the required level. At the final rinse stage, before leaving the washer, the crate receives a small shock to remove excess water.
