Working method

The wash tunnel is divided into three sections: the pre-rinsing zone, the washing zone and the rinsing zone. In the pre-rinsing zone the crate is rinsed with cold water (3l/min) combined with compressed air, eliminating extreme pollution and foaming in the washing zone. The system saves water usage. In the washing zone the crate is intensively washed by a huge number of nozzles. The crate is been washed on top and bottom as well as on both sides. In the rinsing zone the crates are rinsed with clean water by a spraying pipe with nozzles. This zone uses around eight liters water per minute. The rinsing water runs through a filter and is used for refilling the water of the washing zone. By using a self cleaning cassette filter, the water is filtered very well, before recycling it.

Movement

The units are equipped with a Stainless Steel chain with ridges. After being laid on the conveyor belt the crates are being moved forward. The chain contains ridges, making distance between the crates possible. The washing result can definitely be called excellent. One can adjust the speed of the chain to desired rpm’s.

Washing result

The additional use of detergents or soaps will of course produce an even better washing result. That is why a detergent dose pump is optional. The pumps injects a detergent according to the proportional system. Using this special principle makes the system more economical and reliable.

Temperature

The temperature of the cleaning water in the unit is adjustable at 40 - 60°C. The rinsing zone has to be fed with hot water from a boiler or a hot water booster. The water tank contains a small electrical element. The water in the tank will be warmed up and re-heated by this element. If the unit is not supplied with hot water, electrical heating, central heating exchanger, or steam injection is optionally deliverable.

Nozzles

The nozzles are placed in such a way, the spraying reaches the in and outside of the crates good and equally. The nozzles are easy to clean. The same counts for the spraying pipe. Sprayers are adjustable.
